The OR6 Stacker Stripper/Weight Retriever automatically strips the stacker release off the downrigger cable as the downrigger weight is raised. It also doubles as a weight retriever to pull the downrigger weight in for re-rigging.

Downrigger Release Clips: Pick the Tension for Your Fish

A downrigger release clip holds your line to the downrigger weight and lets go when a fish strikes. Off Shore Tackle full size releases come in three tensions. Match the tension to the fish and the line you run.

Light tension, white: the OR4 single and OR7 stacker for light biters such as walleye and trout.
Medium tension, black: the OR1 single and OR2 stacker, the all-round choice for salmon and steelhead.
Heavy tension, red: the OR8 single for big baits, heavy line and hard-pulling fish.

A single release attaches at the downrigger weight. A stacker release attaches to the cable above the weight, so you can run a second lure on the same downrigger. The OR6 Stacker Stripper and Weight Retriever helps you clear stackers and bring the weight aboard. Worn pads? The ORRP8 replacement pads fit every full size release.
